ORANGE HUB THEATRES - cONCESSION STAFF+BARTENDER
Seeking a Part-Time Concession Staff / Bartender. We are looking for someone who is quick on their feet, has customer service experience, and thrives in a fast paced environment!

Part-Time / Casual evenings and weekends as required

Shifts are 3-4 hours, only 1 ten minute paid break per shift

$15/hour + tips paid bi-weekly

The number of shifts available per week will fluctuate based on show performance schedule.
The Concession Staff / Bartender plays a supporting role in making memories for the guests and clients of The Orang Hub Theatres. They will work as part of a small team to deliver fast, outstanding, customer service to guests visiting The Orange Hub Theatres. Must be available evenings and weekends as required based on show schedule. Valid AGLC ProServe certification is required.

Assistant Producer - Mainstage/improv
Temporary position assisting Associate Producer with marketing, sponsorship and administrative duties for upcoming productions and improv shows.
● $17/hour
● 30 hours per week minimum
● ~3 month contract (March-June)
● 10:00am-4:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (flexible)
General Management:
-
Process complimentary tickets for cast/crew, staff and sponsors
-
Manage group bookings and process tickets through the venue management
-
Assist Associate Producer in the management of artist contracts (ie. follow up on signature, proof reading, responding to inquiries)
Marketing, Sales and Promotion:
-
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales plans to promote upcoming productions and events.
-
Coordinate with Associate Producer to create physical and digital marketing materials, including videos, posters, flyers, press releases, and social media content.

Distribute print materials such as posters, handbills and large format signage
-
Assist with management of communications with all marketing and advertising buys

Manage the online presence for productions and events, including website updates, email newsletters, and social media posts.

Analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

Post shows to Community and Online Event Calendars

Find partnership and outreach opportunities to attract new audiences
-
Create and distribute a sales package for all group offerings to encourage group sales to the season of programming
Sponsorship and Fundraising:
-
Assist Associate Producer to produce and execute fundraiser events, galas and opening night
-
Assist Associate Producer with Sponsorship and/or in-kind donation relationships and facilitation
-
Coordinate sponsorship activations and benefits, including logo placement, advertising opportunities, and VIP experiences.
Qualifications:
-
Background in marketing principles and techniques, with experience in digital marketing, social media, or audience development.

Proven track record of securing sponsorships, donations, or grants for arts organizations or nonprofit institutions.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

Passion for theatre and the arts, with a commitment to supporting and promoting creative expression.

Engaged in Edmonton’s Arts Community and an existing understanding of Grindstone’s mandate and operations.

Ability to work independently and develop an understanding of the artistic needs of the Mainstage Department
